You're Too Radical

Denney eats small children for lunch You're Too Radical, 5-18-2001, open, key of E

you think everyone deserves to have a home
you're too radical for me
you think the people of the world can get along
you're too radical for me...
you think that doctors shouldn't charge to help the poor...
you're too radical...
you think we shouldn't spend our money making war...
you're too radical...
you think that water should be drinkable as wine
you think that everyone should get to speak their minds
you think the highest goal is simply to be kind
you're too radical for me

you think that bicycles should get to ride the road...
you're too radical...
you think the working class bears too much of the load
you're too radical...
you think the rich should have to open up the door
you think there's no excuse for hunger anymore
you think all wealth belongs to labor at its core
you are really ...out there

you think that all the world is here for us to share
you're too radical... (you are....really off the edge)
you think there should be art and music everywhere
you're too radical...
you think a college education should be free
you think all weapons should be thrown into the sea
you think the world you want will someday come to be

you really ought to......tone it down
you'll be lucky if they don't...... take you out
you probably just........can't get laid
why don't you.......get a life
you're too radical

"Art. Art. Art. If you say it enough you sound like a barking dog."
